Here’s what every nature lover needs to know about the state of our future.

Without combined effort from companies, politicians and you, our future may be doomed.

Thankfully, you can be a part of the solution by making a pledge to support the 30×30 resolution which aims to protect at least 30% of the nation’s and world’s lands, air and oceans.

Why this matters:

It’s a fact – scientists are recommending that we MUST save 30% of the world’s lands and waters by 2030. Why? To prevent mass extinction of species and battle climate change effectively.

By 2050, the oceans could have more plastic than fish.

Let that sink in for a second.

Every second breath we take comes from the ocean, so it’s imperative that we defend and protect the health of our oceans.

The 30×30 initiative is crucial for helping maintain global biodiversity and defend against the climate crisis.

By pledging your support, you can make the 30×30 policy to protect 30% of lands and waters by 2030 a reality.

We're losing a football field's worth of nature every 30 seconds.

National Geographic Explorer-in-Residence Enric Sala and U.S. Senator Tom Udall explain why America must lead the world in protecting 30 percent of our land and water by 2030.

Today only 15% of land and 7% of our oceans are protected.

All life, including our own lives,  are sustained on Earth by the crucial resources created by our natural world. Without them, we would cease to exist. There’s no question about it.

We know that in protected areas, life comes back.

Look at the reintroduction of wolves to Yellowstone National Park, thriving after being locally extinct there for over 70 years. It is this protection of areas that MUST be expanded nationally and globally if we’re going to stop the effects of climate change.

30x30 bear ears
The 30x30 initiative returned 1.9 million acres of land back under Bears Ears Inter-Tribal Coalition protection.

The 30×30 initiative not only sounds good, but is grounded in the best available science.

The latest IPCC report highlighted why it’s crucial that we maintain the global temperature increase to 1.5°C.

There’s no opinions here. Just solid scientific evidence that needs to be acted upon.

And this is where you come in.

We can't do this without YOU

Brands Supporting 30x30

How to Take Action

You can directly impact the success of this initiative by using your dollars and votes to support brands, politicians and policies that are backing the 30 by 30 Resolution to Protect Nature.

1. Support brands who are actively championing the initiative.

2. Encourage state legislatures, such as California’s 30×30, to increase protections for species, land and water.

3. Visit, volunteer and support your local marine protected area – and actively advocate to create and defend these areas.

We’re trying to hit 10,000 pledges by September.
